The alleged victim, Mr Thomas Yangas, was allegedly killed on December 22, 2016, following Waksarik Primary School’s first grade eight (8) graduation.

Yangas, whose career spanned over thirty (30) years, started teaching after graduating from Dauli Teachers’ College in 1987. He taught in schools in the Eastern Sepik, Eastern Highlands, Morobe, and most recently in Madang.
