Over 800 in 43rd Unitech Graduation

Two Master of Philosophy in Agriculture were conferred on two graduands on Friday 15th April 2011 at UNITECH’s 43rd graduation ceremony.

The ceremony created history with three pioneer women in the Master of Communication Studies program (MCS) being offered through the Department of Communication and Development Studies graduated. This program was started two years ago.

In another milestone achievement, the Department of Forestry graduated its pioneer graduate with a Master of Science in Forestry.

The University graduated more than 860 in today’s ceremony. They passed out will various awards from the six academic disciplines. Over 500 will be conferred degrees, of these 361 are males and 156 are females.

Another 306 will receive diplomas, and of these 156 are males and 67 females. In addition, four students will receive postgraduate diplomas in Agriculture.
