The University of Goroka (OUG) now calls for Expression of Interests (EOI) from Non-School Leavers (NSL) who are interested in applying for undergraduate Bachelor of Education, Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Tourism and Hospitality, Bachelor of Applied Science, and 1 and 2 years Diploma programs in 2012.
It is a requirement that all NSL applicants sit for an Entrance Exam. Only those who attain a score above the cut off mark set by the Admissions Committee will be selected to enroll in the program.
Programs on Offer
NSLs that are selected will enroll into the Bachelor of Science and Science Foundation year or the Diploma programs. Only students that successfully pass all foundation courses will be streamed into specializations in the second year of study. Applicants must be aware that the University reserves the right to change their preferred area of study as determined by the selection criteria for programs.

Entry Examination
NSLs that wish to sit for the Entrance Exam are required to submit EOI by fax, email or mail as provided below. EOI Forms can be obtained from the Student Administration Office or downloaded here.

Date, Time and Venue for Entrance Exam
Entrance Exams will be conducted throughout the country. Exam centers have already been identified and details of time, date and venue will be forwarded to your address. Please note that this process of EOI, short listing for exams and sitting of the exam does not guarantee automatic admission into the University.
Admission Requirement
Provide and summary of CV and copies of certificates and transcript along with complete EOI form. Shortlisted candidates will be required to sit the Entrance Exam. Contact the Admissions Office on the address and phone numbers provided below for the EOI form and any further information.
Application Processing Fee
Intending NSL applicants should note that fee of K50.00 (non-refundable) will be charged for every EOI application lodged. Applications without proof of payment will not be processed. Account details are shown on the EOI form.
Closing Date
The closing date for all EOI is June 30th 2011. EOI received after the closing date will not be considered.
