The collapse of the Angabanga Bridge has forced classes to be suspended to February 20 at Mainohano Secondary School in the Bereina District of Central Province.

Students from areas across the Angabanga River will have to wait until the government fixes the bridge as there is no other way to the school. This is according to Titus Hatagen, the Central provincial education adviser.

Mr. Hatagen also said that they will instruct the teachers to provide weekend classes to make up for lost time.

Meanwhile Secretary for Works Mr. Joel Luma has assured that repair work on the bridge is underway.
