A teacher was attacked in her home and raped by two men in Eastern Highland’s Henganofi district.
Provincial police commander Michael Welly said the teacher Phyllis Kambaki, 32, was at her home when two men broke into her home around 10pm, at the Henganofi station.
She called out for help when the other one followed her out and pulled her back into her house where they raped her.
A report has been laid with police who are currently investigating the case. We are also working with locals from the area to bring in the two men.
Both of their identities are known and police went to their village to bring them in but the two refused to come in and surrender. They even threatened the survivor and police men who are currently investigating the case.
Commander Welly
The two men (named) are still in hiding and have refused to surrender.
