STAT-P is an admissions requirement of the PNG University of Technology (PNGUoT) and the University of Goroka (UOG). The test is compulsory for applicants to the PNG University of Technology (PNGUoT) and the University of Goroka (UOG). This applies to:
- All School Leavers (SLs) applying to P N G UOT or UOG, and
- All pre-service non-School Leavers (non-SLs) applying to UOG.
If SL applicants to PNGUOT and UOG, and pre-service non-SL applicants to UOG do not obtain STAT-P test
results, they will not be considered for admission to the two universities.
One new STAT-P TEST CENTRE (Wabag) has been added on the list of test centres for this year bringing the total test centres to Eighteen (18).
STAT-P test will be conducted in the following locations:

KEY DATES:
- Test Bookings Open: Tuesday, 28th September 2021
- Test Bookings & Payments Close: Sunday, 24th October 2021
- Test Dates: Monday, 8th – Saturday, 13th November 2021
The number of test days conducted in each centre varies in each test centre.
BOOKING A TEST SESSION/RESERVING A PLACE
- Applicants must first complete the test bookings before paying the non-refundable test fee of K100.00.
- Once STAT Booking is complete, you ‘reserve a place’ for two (2) weeks only.
- Candidates have two (2) weeks to pay test fee before registration expires
- Payment will be verified 24-48 hours upon payment
- Booking system will automatically cancel unpaid registrations
- ACER will not reserve any bookings for candidates who do not pay after two weeks of bookings. Do not contact ACER.
- Applicants choose a location and test day when booking their tests. Applicants must attend the test session that they register for. PNG University of Technology and University of Goroka won’t be liable for any transport cost or cater for accommodation for applicants to sit the test at any of the test locations. It is the sole responsibility of the applicants.
- Payments must be made only into the account that ACER provides the details of in their booking confirmation and not into the university accounts. More information about STAT P is available on the ACER website (statpng.acer.org).
