Four (4) boys dormitories at the Grace Memorial Secondary School in Wau, Morobe province, would be converted into classrooms next year.
School principal Zukua Koito said it is due to increasing number of student intakes when he took guests and education officials on a tour.
We will relocate the boys dormitories to a new area and allow the (existing) dormitories to be converted into classrooms from next year.
The new developments will see additional classrooms to be built to cater for the increasing number of students.
Mr Koito
He also thanked former provincial governor Ginson Saonu for funding the new infrastructure developments taking place at the school this year.
Mr Koito said the school changed it’s status from high school to secondary school in 2005.
The school had graduated hundreds of students over the last 15 years and many have graduated from the universities to become engineers, teachers, lawyers accountants, geologists, journalists, businessman and doctors and have contributed to the development of the country.
He added that he will be working closely with the Wau Waria MP Marsh Narewec to support the development of the human resources in the district.
