The University of the South Pacific’s (USP) Master of Business Administration (MBA) Program has been officially re-accredited up to October 2025 by the Association of MBA (AMBA) Accreditation.
The accreditation means that MBA graduates would acquire a qualification that is recognized globally enabling them to drive their leadership skills and career to the next level.
Director for Accreditation, Katherine O’Flynn said the International Accreditation Advisory Board endorsed the panel’s report following the assessment of the USP Graduate School of Business during a visit in September 2022.
She added that the Association of MBA Accreditation of the MBA portfolio had been awarded to the Graduate School of Business, at USP for a period of three years.
The next full re-assessment of the Graduate School of Business, at The University of the South Pacific is scheduled to be undertaken in October 2025. On behalf of AMBA, may I wish USP continued success.
Katherine O’Flynn, International Accreditation Advisory Board
Head of the Graduate School of Business and Director of the MBA program, Professor Gurmeet Singh said AMBA is the world’s only MBA-specific Accreditation Organization, accrediting just 2% of the world’s MBA Business Schools adding that USP achieving this re-accreditation for the third time since 2013 has cemented its place among the top Business Schools of the world.
AMBA has rigorous assessment criteria and re-accreditation ensures that our MBA is of the highest caliber. This demonstrates our best standards in teaching, curriculum, and student interaction. AMBA re-accreditation for us means that our MBA program has international credibility and status.
Professor Singh
He said:
This re-accreditation process also allows us to spot potential shortcomings in our program and challenges us to continuously perform at the highest level.
Professor Singh also congratulated all teaching and non-teaching staff from the School of Business Management (SBM), School of Accounting Finance and Economics (SAFE) and other sections of USP who have worked hard and immensely contributed to achieving the re-accreditation by AMBA.
Meanwhile, those who are keen on pursuing an MBA at USP have until the 18th of November to apply.
