THE Government is continuing to support the education sector by putting more money towards its important program, says Minister Jimmy Uguro.
He said this is reflected in Budget 2023.
Chimbu Governor Noah Kool queried the implementation of new reforms in the school system at Parliament this week.
Kool said education was a vital aspect that improved human capital and the standard of living.
In provinces like mine, there is absence of natural resources and education is considered a vital aspect of life for my people. My question is, when should schools start implementing the 1-6-6 structure?.

All schools in the country are implementing the Standards-Based Curriculum and the 1-6-6 structure – including Chimbu.

In Parliament, Uguro urged against waiting on the Government, the education minister or the department for the change that was needed.
