OTML Apprenticeship Training 2023

Ok Tedi Mining has been training apprentices into qualified and competent tradespersons since 1982. The four (4) year program exposes trainees to cutting-edge technology and best business practices.

Ok Tedi Mining Limited is once again offering Apprenticeship Training in the following Trade Categories in 2023:

• Electrical Mechanic, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
• Heavy Equipment Fitting & Auto Electrical;
• Metal Fabrication & Welding, Maintenance Fitting & Machining; and
• Carpentry, Cabinet Making & Joinery and Plumbing.

Expression of Interest are invited from single young men and women between the ages of 18 and 26 years, who are enrolled at a technical institution in 2022 or undertaking NC3, TTC or Diploma programs with high distinction in core subjects.

Applicants MUST include a full CV, certified copies of Grade 12 and NC2 certificates. Current TTC and Diploma students must provide approved statements of results in Year 1, Year 2 term 2 of your trade, and 2 referees. Applicants without the above stated documents will not be considered.
