Ok Tedi Mining Limited (OTML) has been developing university graduates into competent and qualified professionals in the respective disciplines since 1988. Their two-year Graduate Development Scheme (GDS) is comprehensive and offers on-the-job training. Graduates are exposed to cutting edge technology and best business practices.

To be considered for the OTML Graduate Development Scheme you must:

  • Be in your final year undergraduate study in a PNG or overseas university in 2022.
  • Have a minimum GPA of 3.5 or a Cumulative Weighted Average of 75% and above in your last three (3) semester results.
  • Possess the following attributes and qualities:
    • Leadership experience/ability
    • Team player
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • Flexibility and adaptability
    • Confidence and decision making ability
    • Problem analysis and solving skills
    • Sound planning and organizational ability
    • Consistent academic excellence

Graduates in the following disciplines will be considered:

  • Accounting
  • Human Resource
  • Geology
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Surveying
  • Civil Engineering
  • Chemistry
  • Electrical & Communication Engineering
  • Information & Communication Technology
  • Mining Engineering
  • Mineral Processing Engineering
  • Applied Physics (with instrumentation)
