Teachers in the country will be unable to get their payslips until their rental arrears at Fincorp Haus is sorted and their building is opened, according to The National.
The National Department of Education (NDOE) Secretary Dr Uke Kombra, in a statement said, that the hard copies of payroll documents were locked up in the building. He added that the department could not process salary queries or the processing of loans from financial institutions while they operated from their temporary location.
The NDOE salary section has been locked out of their permanent location at the Fincorp Haus since October 27 due to non payment of rentals.
In the meantime, teachers can lodge their salary queries at their respective provincial offices or email grp_payenquiry@education.gov.pg.
