The Training Services Unit of the Certification Division of the National Institute of Standards and Industrial Technology (NISIT) is responsible for Promoting Standards based training for the purposes of information dissemination, educational awareness and training in understanding, adopting and implementing international best practices and standards in Papua New Guinea (PNG).
The training courses are aimed at organizations and companies intending to obtain or maintain third-party certifications based on international standards and CODEX (HACCP) Code of Practices.

Our Public Training Program is conducted by trained management system Trainers who are experienced implementers, registered auditors and consultants with regional and international exposure and knowledge. For the first time we are offering a “Lead Auditing” training for those who want to register or be recognized as Auditors.
