BPW PNG LNG In-Country Scholarship Program

2023 ROUND NOW OPEN

The 2023 Round of the BPW PNG LNG In-Country Scholarship is now open and closes on Monday, 24 April 2023 for this years’ academic intake.

The BPW PNG LNG In-Country Scholarship program is a partnership between the Business & Professional Women’s Association of Port Moresby (BPW) and ExxonMobil PNG Limited (operator of the PNG LNG Project).

This scholarship program aims to provide education and training across Higher Education platforms for female and male students from the PNG LNG Project areas.

Funds will contribute to tuition, on campus board (where applicable), and one-off logistics and support at commencement and completion of course.

Eligibility:

To be eligible to receive a Scholarship, applicant must be a PNG citizen and from a PNG LNG license area in Hela Province.

The scholarship recipient must maintain at least an average of C or a GPA of 2.0 during the course of study.

Since the program’s inception in 2019, a total of 120 students have been awarded a scholarship to pursue their education study programs.

This opportunity is for in-country only and not for study abroad. There is not restriction on the subject of study.

Note that late applications, incomplete application forms, and applications with missing supporting documents will not be considered.
