Mr Wenge
Mr Marape said the government has spent K770 million for the country’s free education to ensure every children goes to school and get an education.
He said this is a big investment by the government on its human resources for the future.
He challenged parents to make sure their children are in the classrooms learning and not on the streets doing illegal activities.
He said the government plans to delegate the responsibilities for school infrastructures so that the national government takes care of tertiary institutions and provincial governments will focus on high schools and secondary schools while district government will concentrate on primary and elementary schools.
He said this would make is easy for separate government levels to concentrate on their areas and build infrastructures.
Mr Wenge also praised the Menyamya District Development Authority (DDA) and first time MP Solen Loifa for preparing a plan for Menyamya, five months after taking office.
Mr. Wenge also urged the other nine MPs and their DDAs to work on their development plans that should go in line with the provincial government plans and vision and also the national governments plans (Vision 2050).
