The Department of Education (DoE) wishes to inform the general public that the following Primary Teachers’ Colleges are the only recognized Teacher Training Providers/Colleges by the Department of Education and the Teaching Service Commission (TSC) in Papua New Guinea (PNG).

The general public is WARNED not to enroll their children in colleges that are not listed above because the Department of Education and the Teaching Service Commission do not recognize them as approved Teacher Training Institutions.
Graduates from other institutions that are not recognized by the system will not be certified by the Secretary of Education and will also not be admitted into teaching by the TSC.
For those who are interested in applying to Primary Teachers’ Colleges, the entry qualification is strictly Grade 12 with ‘C’ Grades or a GPA of 2.00 and above.
