Taikoo College Scholarships for Papua New Guineans
Taikoo College Scholarships (TCS) are open to:
- Grade 12 school leavers who have applied for Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET) at the following institution: IEA College of TAFE.
- High achieving students who come from lower income families or difficult financial backgrounds.
Scholarship recipients receive scholarships benefits for one (1) academic year of their study program. TSC benefits include:
- Payment of full tuition fees
- Resource investment for study materials
Important: Please read carefully before completing your application
Instruction to Applicants
- You must complete your application in English.
- Check eligibility requirements before applying. If you are ineligible and still apply, your application will be automatically eliminated.
- All required questions on the application must be answered.
- All necessary documents required must be attached with the application and submitted.
Misrepresentation of information will amount to your application being disqualified. - You must complete the application in one-sitting and submit. You won’t be able to save your progress and continue at a later date.
- You are only allowed to submit 1 response so ensure to take your time and fill out your application correctly.
- Ensure you have a steady internet connection and not in an environment where you can be distracted during your application.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be a Papua New Guinea (PNG) citizen
- Must be in Year 2 of studies in 2024 Academic Year
- Must be a Grade 12 School Leaver for 2023.
- Accepted for a course in: Tourism & Hospitality, Business, Sales & Marketing at IEA College of TAFE.
- No previous disciplinary issues.
Required supporting documentation
- Identification documentation: NID, driver’s license, school ID card or passport bio-page.
- Confirmation letter from IEA College of TAFE
- Proof of payment of enrollment fee
- Tuition fee quotation/invoice
- Copy of your PNG Higher School Certificate (Grade 12 Certificate)
- Two written references from two people other than relatives (e.g., Community Leader, Pastor, Ward Councillor, teacher) who endorse your application.
The form will only accept the following types of files so ensure your supporting documents are saved as either documents; PDF or images.
