USP MBA program ranked fourth in Oceania

The endeavors of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at The University of the South Pacific’s (USP) School of Business and Management reached a significant milestone as it ranked fourth in the Executive MBA category in Oceania by the Eduniversal Ranking 2024 Best Masters.

The Eduniversal Best Masters Ranking comprehensively evaluates Masters and MBA program globally and stands as the sole platform assessing individual master courses across 56 diverse fields of study worldwide.

USP is the only other University alongside the University of Hawai’i at Manao, the University of Otago in New Zealand and seven others from Australia that ranked in the Top 10 – 2024 Eduniversal Best Masters Ranking for MBA in Oceania. 

This ranking is profoundly significant for USP, affirming our strong position in the Oceania educational landscape. It underscores our dedication to delivering an exceptional education and competing robustly on a regional scale.

The implications of this ranking for our MBA program are extensive: it enhances the program’s attractiveness to prospective students worldwide, potentially improves job prospects for our graduates and attracts more interest from top employers, fosters pride and boosts morale among our current students, faculty, and alumni, encouraging continued excellence and innovation and enhances overall quality, ensuring it meets the expectations of ranking agencies and stakeholders.

The SBM Head of School also stressed the significance of the MBA programme in that it extends beyond regional borders, impacting the global academic and business landscapes as it provides a unique regional insight, promotes cultural proficiency, and emphasises sustainability with diverse networking opportunities.

USP also scored in the top 10 Eduniversal Best Masters Rankings in Oceania in three other Masters programmes; its Master of Commerce in Management & Public Administration was ranked seventh, ninth in the Master of Science in Climate Change and ranked 10th in the Master of Business Administration (Full-time).

According to Eduniversal, the Executive MBA is designed to improve and expand the managerial skills of participating professionals who occupy positions of responsibility in leading companies and organisations.

USP’s MBA programme is accredited by the Association of MBA (AMBA). Established in 1967, AMBA is committed to raising the profile of business education and quality standards internationally for the benefit of business schools, MBA students and graduates and alumni, employers, communities, and society.
