LAE, MOROBE – Friday, 12th September 2025 – The partner universities for the Skills for Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT PNG) have announced the cancellation of the Wabag (Enga Province) Test Centre for the upcoming 2025 testing round. The decision, effective immediately from September 12, 2025, means the Wabag venue will no longer be available for test bookings or sittings due to circumstances beyond the universities’ control.
What Applicants Need to Do
All School Leaver (SL) and Non-School Leaver (NSL) applicants to the following universities who had selected Wabag as their test centre must take immediate action:
- Papua New Guinea University of Technology (PNGUoT)
- University of Goroka (UOG)
- Pacific Adventist University (PAU)
You are strongly advised to log into the STAT PNG system and amend your booking to an alternative test venue. Recommended alternative locations include:
- Mt Hagen
- Mendi
- Goroka
- Or another official venue listed on the STAT PNG schedule.
The STAT PNG partner universities sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause and appreciate the cooperation and understanding of all candidates, parents, and guardians.
