MRDC Petroleum Resources Education Subsidy Program 2026

Applications Open Now for 2026

The Education Subsidy Program for beneficiaries of the Petroleum Resources trustees is now open. The program provides tuition subsidies to students from petroleum-affected areas. Mineral Resources Development Company (MRDC) oversees the program, ensuring a fair and transparent selection process in accordance with Board-approved policies and regulations. 

Eligibility Criteria

1. Be a direct beneficiary (as defined by project MoAs/Tribe of Origin/ILG or Clan). 
2. Complete Grade 12 with a GPA of 2.5 or above for undergraduate programs.
3. Submit a fully completed application form before the closing date. 
4. Answer short answer questions (assessed). 
5. Obtain endorsement from recognized endorsers. 
6. Be an existing student or accepted to a DHERST-sanctioned tertiary institution. 
7. Attach a copy of the offer letter, fee structure, and other supporting documents. 
8. For technical trades and vocational training, have a minimum entry-level qualification.
