Police Investigate Death of 14-Year-Old Koki Student

Police are investigating the death of a 14-year-old male student from Koki Primary School whose body was found outside the Koki Fish Market this morning. Authorities are treating the death as suspicious.

According to police reports, the deceased, identified as Stanley James, left his home on Sunday to go to Koki but did not return. His mother said the family began searching for him later that afternoon when he failed to come home. They later heard that a body had been found near the Koki Fish Market, which was later confirmed to be her son.

The grieving mother said the cause of death remains unknown and that the family will wait for the outcome of the police investigation.

NCD Metropolitan Superintendent Warrick Simatab confirmed that police are collecting evidence and eyewitness accounts to determine what happened. He also urged city residents to exercise caution when moving around the city.
