A total of 43 pioneer students graduated from a newly established school in the Unggai-Bena District of Eastern Highlands recently.
According to the Post Courier, the pioneer grades eights (8), ten (10) and twelve (12) students from the Unggai Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) High School graduated last Thursday.
The school was established in 2020 by Mr Benny Allan, who was also the guest speaker. Also present to witness the special occasion was the school’s board member Mr Jeremaiah Kimisimo, School Inspector Mr Steven Kanaku, and Mr John Franky, the Dux award sponsor.
The school principal, Mr Aiyo Kondi, commended Mr Allan for spearheading the establishment of the school. He also thanked others who had a help in getting the school up and operational.
According to the Adventist Record, the Government of Papua New Guinea (GoPNG) donated more than K13 million to build the school’s facilities.
