Preschool to Grade 6

St. Joseph’s is a Catholic College that enrolls students from preschool to Grade 12, offering a dual PNG and New South Wales curriculum. The College Board invites qualified, experienced, and preferred Catholic applicants for positions.

Requirements for Classroom Teachers

  • Appropriate educational qualifications for primary education.
  • A minimum of three years of teaching experience in a primary setting.
  • Strong computer and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • A satisfactory health and criminal record check.
  • Sound knowledge of effective student management strategies and pastoral care.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
  • Must be a practicing Catholic with a solid understanding of Catholic education principles.

Teacher Aide: Preschool

We are also seeking a dedicated Teacher Aide for our Preschool program. Requirements for Teacher Aide:

  • Relevant educational qualifications or equivalent experience in early childhood education.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and creative skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines.
  • A proven record of attendance and punctuality from previous employment.
