Call for Applications for Police Reserve Training

The Commissioner of Police welcomes applications from eligible persons for Police Reserve Training. Successful applicants will be of high integrity, community focused with a Papua New Guinean mindset, as against provincial or tribal; and have the will to deliver Policing in Partnership with Communities.

We are looking for people who:

  • Place a high importance on the rule of law and strong community based values;
  • Support initiatives to prevent family and sexual violence and discrimination against females and minority groups, and;
  • Believe in the injustice of sorcery allegations.

Former reservists with a clean disciplinary record are encouraged to apply.

The RPNGC embraces the National Government’s Gender Equity and Social Inclusion (GESI) Policy and encourages women and anyone that believes they can meaningfully contribute, to apply.

Successful applicants will be placed in a pool and notified when a vacant training position is available. Applicants may be required to travel to undertake the training.

To obtain a Reservist Application Pack email a request to: policereservistapplications@lelink.net.au

Alternatively, attend your Provincial Police Headquarters to obtain a Reservist Application Pack.

Applications close: midday 14 July 2021.

Authorized by the Commissioner of Police
