The second term holidays for students will be cut short by a week, according to a circular from the Department of Education. The break period which was originally scheduled to end on July 9, will now end on July 2 instead.
The shortened break will allow for schools and students to make up for lost time taken during the pandemic shutdown exercises.
Term three (3) will begin on July 5 and will end on September 17, giving the schools eleven (11) weeks of classes.
