The National Department of Education (NDoE) would like to invite suitably qualified building and construction companies to submit their proposal for the supply and construction of steel prefabricated buildings for selected schools in Papua New Guinea (PNG).
Types of Buildings to be supplied and constructed include:
- High Set Double Classroom/ Science Laboratory;
- High Set 3 Bedroom Houses.
Prerequisites:
All interested bidders who wish to apply must:
- Be a locally registered company and must specify their locations
- Have current and valid COC, IPA, TIN and Commerce Certificate
- Must have more than 5 years’ experience in the Building and Construction Industry
- Provide Financial Statement to show evidence of own funds or provide a Bank guarantee from Financial Banks and other finance or insurance companies.
Conditions:
- There will be no Advance/ Mobilization Payment. Contractor to start at own costs and payment will be done after 40% completion of the project.
- All buildings will be prefabricated with Steel.
- Prefabricated buildings to be purchased from Atlas Steel PNG and Rhodes PNG only.
- All bids must be consistent with the building designs and specifications provided by NDoE.
- Companies must provide the total cost estimate to complete the project and must include GST.
- Variations are not allowed the the project must be a turn-key project.

All bid documents must be strictly received no later than 4.06pm, 22nd July 2022. Any late submissions will be deemed as late submissions and will not be entertained.
