NPIPNG 2023 Academic Programs for Non-School Leavers

The National Polytechnic Institute of Papua New Guinea (NPIPNG) now accepts applications from interested non-school leaver applicants for possible admission to the following academic programs/courses for Semester 1 of 2023.

  • Diploma in Business Studies – Management
  • Diploma in Business Studies – Office Administration
  • Diploma in Computing
  • Diploma in Architectural Drafting
  • Diploma in Building
  • Diploma in Civil Engineering
  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Power)
  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Electronics)
  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  • Diploma in Applied Science
  • Diploma in Hospitality & Management
  • Certificate in Meat Processing
  • National Certificate in Metal Fabrication & Welding
  • National Certificate in Maintenance Fitting & Machining
  • Certificate III in Laboratory Skills
  • Certificate IV in Building & Design Drafting
  • Certificate II in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery | Food & Beverage Operations | Accommodation Services)

A non-refundable application processing fee of fifty kina (K50.00) has to be deposited into the Institute’s account with these details:

The original bank receipt must be attached to the application form as proof of payment and submitted to:

An applicant may obtain an application form at the administration reception, or request through the email stated hereunder.

Application closes on the 21st of October 2022.

Successful applicants will be informed accordingly to sit the entry test and with Admission based on the entry test results.

Notes:

  1. These programs/courses are self sponsored with the non-availability of boarding privileges.
  2. The Institute reserves the right to discontinue any programs or courses that will not meet the minimum class size of 16 for Certificates I & II in MFM and MFW, or 25 for Diplomas and Certificates III & IV (new programs).
