International students graduate at teachers’ college

FIVE international students graduated with bachelor and diploma in primary teaching from Mt Hagen’s Holy Trinity Teachers College last week.

Three women and a man from the Solomon Islands graduated with bachelors in primary teaching while a woman from Vanuatu graduated with a diploma in primary teaching.

They were among the 234 students who passed out with bachelors and diploma in primary teachings.

College principal Michael Miamel commended the international students and added studying abroad has many challenges and these students have come the hard way to come this far.

On behalf of the college, I would like to thank you for studying at the Holy Trinity Teachers’ college and we are looking forward to have more students from overseas to study here.

Miamel said 21 students graduated with bachelors while the rest with diplomas describing it as a milestone achievement for the students after maintaining their studies, time and commitment.

He said this academic year was tough but the college managed to complete the year.
