The future is in your hands, students told

Graduating students from Busu secondary school were reminded to continue striving for success as per their school motto of ‘It All Depends on Me’.

Busu Secondary chairman of governing council Peter Kesu said this during the grade 12 graduation, while adressing the 286 graduating students.

Mr Kesu said with closure of this chapter, you open up another new chapter and from here you write your own narrative of what you want to be based on your choices.

He said it is up to you as an individual to plot your destiny from here on as there is a real world out there waiting for you of which you will be exposed to more demands, high expectations, many challenges and opportunities.

Many a times you will need to make life changing decisions to address these situations.

The decisions you make must come from a mature mindset, be of realistic outcomes and with purpose. These decisions you make, will determine your success and prosperity.

Busu has basically groomed you to walk the pathway ahead.

It is up to you to navigate through any situations along the way to arrive at your destination wherever and whatever it may be.

The future is in your hands and it all depends on you to realize your dreams and aspirations.

Mr Kesu

Mr Kesu said what you have acquired in knowledge here will equip you to help and sustain you in whatever you aspire to become and never see any failure as an end to life and give up easily.

He said think positively and see failure as a temporary pause for you to take stock of what went wrong, reassess and refocus yourself on what you can do better.

Avoid negative influences and people and always do good to others. Push beyond the boundaries of your comfort zone to achieve your goal.

Remember, nothing is impossible unless you are lazy and don’t put any effort to giving it a try.
