OTML Undergraduate Student Scholarship 2023

Are you are Second Year student at the University of Papua New Guinea (UPNG), Divine Word University (DWU), Papua New Guinea University of Technology (PNGUoT) and Pacific Adventist University (PAU)?

Ok Tedi Mining Limited (OTML) Undergraduate Student Scholarship (USS) Program is highly competitive and scholarships will be awarded on high academic excellence offering you access to a world-class, resource and training driven organization.

OTML is looking forward to sponsor students on a two-year term, commencing in January 2023 for its USS scheme.

Students must have a proven track record of high academic excellence and are studying in these disciplines:

  • Accounting
  • Applied Physics (with instrumentation)
  • Biology
  • Chemistry
  • Human Resources
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Environmental Sciences
  • Geology
  • Goetechnical Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Mineral Processing Engineering
  • Mining Engineering

To be eligible, you must have a GPA of 3.5 or better or weighted average of 75% or higher.

Students from the Preferred Area of Western Province are encouraged to apply.

    Thank you OTML for the initiatives to shape and educate the young generation of Papua New Guinea to liberate them from financial incapability which is the main barrier for success .

  2. Thank you OTML for giving us the students a chance of being sponsored. Most of us the students came from background where only single parent catered for us, hence I believe such help will reduce the burden and hardship that we faced to during registration in higher institutions.
