Expression of Interest

The Pacific Institute of Leadership and Governance (PILAG) is seeking to engage the services of Consultants/Trainers to conduct training for the Institute’s Leadership and Management Courses.

The individual will deliver the course in the following areas:

  1. Training course participants in understanding their organizations, the Public Service values and ethics, behavioral styles and preferences of public service.
  2. Train participants to lead and manage business outcomes, strategic planning and relationships, operational, financial and risk acumen for leaders.
  3. Train participants on leading and managing business resources to deliver operational outcomes and improvement: leading projects; work with organizational policy to manage resources, people and team effectiveness.
  4. Train participants in team building, influencing and negotiation.

The ideal candidate we are looking for should have the following:

  • At least 5 – 10 years of employment in the public service;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a senior public servant/departmental head;
  • Certificate IV in Training Assessment is an added benefit;
  • Suitable Bachelor’s Degree or preferably a Master’s Degree;
  • At least 3 years of conducting training and assessment is an asset.
  • A former or current academic is desirable.
