The Pacific Institute of Leadership and Governance (PILAG) is seeking to engage the services of Consultants/Trainers to conduct training for the Institute’s Leadership and Management Courses.
The individual will deliver the course in the following areas:
- Training course participants in understanding their organizations, the Public Service values and ethics, behavioral styles and preferences of public service.
- Train participants to lead and manage business outcomes, strategic planning and relationships, operational, financial and risk acumen for leaders.
- Train participants on leading and managing business resources to deliver operational outcomes and improvement: leading projects; work with organizational policy to manage resources, people and team effectiveness.
- Train participants in team building, influencing and negotiation.
The ideal candidate we are looking for should have the following:
- At least 5 – 10 years of employment in the public service;
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a senior public servant/departmental head;
- Certificate IV in Training Assessment is an added benefit;
- Suitable Bachelor’s Degree or preferably a Master’s Degree;
- At least 3 years of conducting training and assessment is an asset.
- A former or current academic is desirable.
