Industrial Training for Agriculture Graduates

Industrial training/job placement for new agriculture graduates on New Zealand livestock farms

In our efforts to sustain and progress growth and development of Livestock Industry in Papua New Guinea (PNG), the Livestock Development Corporation (LDC) has advanced a partnership program which will see our young graduates with agriculture qualification(s) undergo industrial training at the New Zealand National Training Academy (NTA) and later go on for job placements in selected livestock farms across New Zealand.

The program will be made available by our partner and Papua New Guinean owned SME based in New Zealand, the Dairy and Beef Cattle Farming Consultancy (DBCFC).

We are now extending an open invite to young Papua New Guineans who have recently graduated from recognized tertiary institutions throughout the country to apply for this hands-on industrial training experience and possible job placement in selected farms across New Zealand.

  1. Duration of Program
    • 3 months intensive industrial training at New Zealand NTA
    • 1 year job placement in selected livestock farms across New Zealand (optional)
