USP Entrepreneurial Fair 2026 brings powerful ideas and youthful energy to Laucala campus

The University of the South Pacific (USP) has launched its 2026 Entrepreneurial Fair, bringing together students, academics, and industry partners under the theme “AI, Innovation and Future of Enterprise.”

The two-day event is designed to encourage students to think creatively, embrace innovation, and explore opportunities in an evolving business and employment landscape.

It also provides a platform for students to engage with industry leaders, expand their networks, and gain practical insights into the future of work and enterprise.

The fair was officially launched by chief guest Anare Manulevu, Partner in Advisory at KPMG Fiji, who shared insights on the growing role of artificial intelligence, business innovation, and adaptability in shaping the future of enterprise.

Artificial intelligence and innovation are no longer future concepts – they are already changing the way we live, work, and do business in Fiji and the Pacific region. Students who are willing to adapt, learn, and think differently will be best positioned to lead the future of enterprise.

Manulevu

USP Career Counsellor and Service Coordinator Jessica Singh said the Entrepreneurial Fair provides an important platform for students to broaden their horizons, build confidence, and explore new pathways beyond their individual fields of study.

The Entrepreneurial Fair gives our students a valuable opportunity to engage with ideas that stretch beyond the classroom.

It is about encouraging curiosity, building practical skills, and supporting students to see how innovation and entrepreneurship can connect with their academic and professional goals.

Singh

Students attending the fair said the initiative was both inspiring and empowering, offering them the chance to learn from experienced professionals and gain exposure to new ideas.

Neori Kitou, a Bachelor of Commerce graduate majoring in Accounting and Economics from Koroua Village in Sigatoka, said the experience was a meaningful one.

It has been an honour attending the Entrepreneurial Fair.

Having such an opportunity would boldly build my character in terms of adapting to a changing working environment, and it would help me grasp more knowledge for myself in the future.

Kitou

Verenaisi Tukana, a Bachelor of Law student from Savu, Vugalei, Tailevu, said the fair opened her eyes to the value of cross-disciplinary learning and innovation.

As a graduate law student, this Entrepreneurial Fair allows me to navigate and explore more into business innovation initiatives and create more opportunities in building my background of study.

I encourage students not to become isolated in only one field of study, but to move across other areas of expertise and dive deeper into every chance and opportunity along the way.

Tukana

The 2026 Entrepreneurial Fair reflects USP’s continued commitment to supporting student development, innovation, and employability through meaningful engagement with industry and enterprise.
