Schools in the country will resume classes on April 19. According to the Post Courier, this was made known by Minister for Education, Jimmy Uguro.
The minister reportedly said he was working with his departmental secretary to liaise with the office of the controller to find a way out amid the rising number of confirmed COVID-19 cases.
Minister Uguro said classes would resume on April 19 as planned with safety protocols implemented. He said students, parents and students must comply with the measures.
Classes will resume with COVID-19 protocols in place – and as usual – must be complied with by students, teachers and parents or students’ guardians.

Uguro also said it was a shared responsibility for all parties to manage and guide the students.
