The Department of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology (DHERST) has issued an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for major civil works under the Improved Technical and Vocational Education and Training for Employment (iTVET4E) Project.
Financed through ADB Loan 4263 and Grant 0866, the works will support infrastructure improvements at four technical and vocational education institutions across the Highlands.
📍 Four project lots are available:
🔹 Lot 1 – Mt Hagen Technical College, Western Highlands
Retrofit and renovation of the Metal Fabrication and Welding Workshop, including new construction.
🔹 Lot 2 – Highlands Agriculture College, Western Highlands
Workshop retrofit and refurbishment, plus construction of a male ablution facility.
🔹 Lot 3 – Don Bosco Simbu Technical College, Simbu
Construction of a covered court and two three-bedroom female staff houses.
🔹 Lot 4 – Goroka Technical College, Eastern Highlands
Construction of a library and computer laboratory, day ablution block, mechanical vehicle motor workshop and a three-bedroom female staff house.

Eligible contractors may bid for one or several lots, subject to the qualification requirements outlined in the bidding documents.
