Japanese FlagThe Japanese Government through its embassy in Port Moresby have allocated K208, 528 to build a new assembly hall at Koge Primary School in the Chimbu Province. The funding is part of the Japanese Government’s assistance grants for grassroots human security projects in its 2011 fiscal year which ends this month.

The Japanese Ambassador to Papua New Guinea, His Excellency Hiroharu Iwasaki, hopes the project would be a significant step forward in strengthening friendship between the two countries.

Iwasaki signed the grant contract on March 15.
