Twenty two (22) students representing Kilakila Secondary School (KSS) are now ambassadors under the Censorship Ambassador School Program (CASP).
This follows the conclusion of a three (3) day training program at the Edgewood Hotel in Port Moresby yesterday with certification and pledges.
According to the program facilitator from the Office of Censorship, Delly Morofa, participants underwent training to become positive influencers in their families, schools and communities.
Acting deputy Chief Censor Ilikomau Ali, when congratulating the students, said the awareness programs has taught the censor about unspoken issues that young people face with regard to technology.
We started to understand the students’ problems.
This will help us come up with more of such initiatives.
We anticipate expanding the program and involving other people in the community.
